Joe Charles

Joe Charles, a talented bassist.

According to connoisseurs of contemporary music, the bass is the harmonic backbone of the songs played by a group. In duet with the drummer, they ensure a rhythmic cohesion. This combination is known as association low-end providing support to the rest of the group. Joe Charles has proven in recent years to be a leading national bass player. His incessant progress shows him a great ability to work and a great desire to move forward. For those who did not know it, the Charles brothers are all full-fledged musicians. Lionel and Philippe are guitarists who play almost everything from konpa to jazz to pop music, reggae and Latin music, as well as their younger brother "Joe", a talented bassist and a sound engineer with considerable skills and considered by his peers as one of the best konpa bassists of his generation, though he never boasts of his exploits. Throughout his musical career, Joe Charles has served the most popular and influential bands in the Haitian music industry, such as: Thamad Band, Kajou, Tabou-Combo, Zèklè, Top Vice and Shleu-Shleu Miami All Stars. I had the chance to work with the most requested musicians of my generation; Joe Charles is one of the best. He acquired a great technique on his instrument, as well as on his artistic details. "WE ARE MUSICIANS" greatly appreciated his contribution to the evolution of our music.
